  • Am looking for a UHF antenna for my XTS3000. I purchased a radio from you and come to find out our system needs the UHF antenna the study do you sell them if so do I need to provide the serial number or the model number

    We do not sell these antennas individually. We suggest you go to Amazon.

  • Is the HT programable from keyboard? Has this feature been enabled? Do you have the instructions to program?. Will the radio also work on Amateur frequencies? Ambulance company migrating to P25 system.

    No, it is not field programmable.

We have an ambulance company that will migrate to P25 soon. Of course, they are giving members time to purchase. I would like to have a pair programmed for just a regular analog pair and a pair for reverse so that HT to HT is possible.

    Also, I would like to program the same pair for P25 when we finally go to P25 digital use. Also would want a reverse pair as well for HT to HT as well. How much for programming, please? I don't think I would have so much use that it will be worth purchasing the software to program. If we change later, can I send to you again to change the HT pRogramming?

    If you need programming, we first suggest you contact your local radio dealer. If you cannot, we can hire a radio programmer to program your radios. The cost is $25 per radio with a $100 minimum charge. The programming is limited to 16 conventional channels unless an existing code plug is provided. You can request programming after placing your order. Please keep in mind, that our programming vendor will not program GMRS, FRS, or MURS frequencies. For a variety of legal and technical reasons, we do not program radios.

    Unfortunately, we cannot program GMRS frequencies.

    No, this is a P25 radio, not DMR.
