Rentals FAQ
Rental periods can be as short as one week (minimum) or as long as needed (no maximum).
Current available inventory dictates the maximum number of units you can rent at one time, but there is no minimum number required.
Rental charges are based on multiple factors including customer profile, type of equipment rented, the length of time you need the rental, and the number of units required. Contact our Radio Rental specialists for specific pricing and availability. Note: Rates are not guaranteed and may change without notice.

Yes. If you lose the rental equipment, you will be charged for the full replacement cost of that equipment. Please provide proof of theft either via an insurance claim or by providing a copy of a police report. Report the theft to the authorities promptly as rental charges continue to accrue up until the equipment is reported as stolen. If you misplace the equipment but find and return it within 60 days, Haloid will issue a refund accordingly. If you attempt to return the equipment after 60 days have passed, Haloid reserves the right not to refund the replacement charge previously collected.
Replacement value is the price Haloid paid when initially acquiring the radio. Some specialized or discontinued models have a higher replacement value due to part scarcity and more expensive
maintenance. Some encryptions and configurations are also assessed a higher replacement value.
Haloid rental equipment is not for sale, nor can it be resold, so reseller discounts are not applicable if you rent and lose equipment. Any and all fees associated with replacing a rental unit are passed onto the customer directly. On some occasions, Haloid may accept a unit replacement in lieu of a fee, but this must be discussed with us and is not guaranteed in advance. Please contact us at for more information.
